Lorenzo Shakespear

Lorenzo Shakespear is a Graphic Designer from Buenos Aires. Between 1986 and 1989 he worked in Shakespear Design Buenos Aires, in Pentagram Design in London and in Mario Eskenazi Design in Barcelona. Between 1993 and 2011 he co-directed Shakespear Design. Between 2002 and 2005 he opened and directed the office in Santiago, Chile.

Lorenzo specialises in design strategy, branding, wayfinding systems, and brand journey design services for all productive sectors. In 2011 he created Lorenzo Shakespear Design, or LSD, in Buenos Aires and in Lima, Peru.

The production and ideas of Lorenzo Shakespear have been published in books and specialized magazines all over the world. He was Director of the CAYC Museum of Architecture (1995) and Consultant of the National Museum of Fine Arts (MNBA), among other strategic participations aimed at creating meaning, brand value and urban culture.

He regularly talks at universities and congresses in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Venezuela, Estonia, Germany and Switzerland.

He has received the Konex Merit Award for the Decade in Visual Arts in two occasions (2002 and 2012), the Prarex “Windows to the Future” Award in 2013 and the “Entrepreneur Style” Award given by the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires in 2017.
